This image shows a rough sketch of my school magazine's front cover design. After initially wanting the cover to be shot outside, I ended up deciding to have the model pose indoors. I thought this would allow me more space for editing in the future, as I can change the background to any colour or design. In the plan, included an example of a possible sell line about the front cover story which will be about unhealthy eating to give myself an idea of what the final product might look like. By planning where the sell lines and button will go, I will be able to take my pictures with a good plan in mind already. As well as having drawn the front cover, I also drew a plan of what the contents page will look like. Although the layout may change in editing stages, this has still given me an insight into how many pictures I may need and after all, it is only a first rough plan.
